front/back modular sling pack

Being jammed in confined spaces for hours is an unfortunate part of the business for many professionals we serve. Whether it’s a military unit in a personnel carrier, a pilot in a cockpit, drivers in a HumVee, or a journalist in the back of a goat truck, they all have to bring their gear, and all may need to ‘relocate’ in a hurry. This is the environment for which our Evac™ line of sling-packs has been developed. Slim shaped, for fast maneuvering in crowds, they can be stored in vehicles/lockers, and are quick to take on or off. They are also ambidextrous, and unlike others in this class, are actually comfortable to wear. The main padded strap is cocked at either the right or left lower corner, so the pad aligns ergonomically in the correct body-hugging direction. There is no slack, or gapping away from the body as is typical with similar single shoulder packs. The bag can be rotated to the chest for on-the-go access, and all pockets are designed to face the user in this mode on either the right or left side. This means the user can go from wearing the pack on his back, to driving a vehicle with it on his chest in just a few seconds. One-strap also makes shouldering a long-gun natural - unlike a regular backpack.

Instruction/Care

Never use a washer or a dryer to clean/dry your pack. Be sure to empty all pockets, shake out dirt and debris. Soak your Hazard 4® bag in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10-15 minutes and swish it vigorously. Use clean sponge, cloth to clean dirty spots. Use a clean small and soft brush such as a toothbrush to scrub clogged zipper teeth or pocket corners - be very gentle so you don't damage any coating or finish. Rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue. Dry all metal parts completely as quickly as possible. Use a lubricant made for zippers to improve zipper slide. Invert your pack inside out and hang it to dry in shade. DO NOT place it in direct sunlight as UV light can degrade and discolor the fabric.

Greatest gobag ever made

I work as a grip in the film industry for over 26 years , and for the longest time I was looking for something modular, easy to carry and easy to access. And low and behold…. The Plan B. It is brilliant designed, full of molle and fits anywhere. The perfect size. I had the Plan B for a few years then I realized I needed more room in my Plan B go bag. I bought the Plan B Takedown. It’s perfect for spare change of clothes, my tools , med kit, external battery for phone,
Etc. ith was the bigger brother. And it is full of awesome. To this day My Rakedown is my work gobag and my PlanB (original) is my daily carry. They have survived travel, sand storms, rain downpours, and all sorts of eterior elements. Theses bags have been undestructable . And for that I thank you. Thank you for making the perfect bag for my work and travel. Keep doing what you do. I really wish the Takedown was still available.

Plan B

This is my first sling bag but not my first exposure to Hazard 4 products. My wife being an amateur photographer i got her a couple H4 camera bags and i was very impressed with both of them. This sling bag is no different. Very well built in terms of material thickness, excellent stitching, even the plastic hardware is more heavy duty than other higher end backpacks i own. My takedown AR fits snugly along with mags and other accessories one may need. I cant believe i waited this long to get one of these slingbags. Fully adjustable with me being a gym rat have a larger chest and shoulders than the average dude, it can be adjusted to remain tight enough i could sprint and bot worry about the bag jumping all over the place. But yet it remains quick to doff to access its contents. Id give it 10 stars if i could.

Perfect little sling!

This is a very nice little,11.8L, sling bag for just about any situation. It has all the good bits and pieces like YYK zipper pulls and tape, Cordura fabric, nylon thread and quality hardware/ buckles. The strap is perfect, wide and well padded. I am a big guy at 5' 11'' weighing in at 230lbs and being left handed I appreciate the adjustability, it fits me well. This pack would have been perfect with proper/additional storage pockets/sleeves inside the pouches but does not take away from the build quality. I own many Maxpedition, First Tactical, Helikon Tex, Vanquest and other packs and pouches and Hazard 4 gear is right on par with all of them. Looking forward to my next Hazard 4 pack to add to my collection. 5 stars!

Awesome bag

Purchased this bag with the intent to make a bug out bag. Itâ€s a great bag that hold a lot of valuable items. Itâ€s also great that you can add on if necessary. Also feels very comfortable when you adjust it to fit your body frame.

(Grey man) 3 years and counting

So, I’ve been carrying this bag everywhere for 3 years now and I can’t say enough how confident I am in saying it’ll go for 10 and still be my everyday go bag. I drive a small car and having a bag that is easy to manipulate getting in and out, going to work and getting home without having an edc-valanche has been fantastic. I frikin love the locking quick release clasp! I wash it in the washing machine. I take the Velcro shelf out and turn it inside out and wash it on the gentle cycle, then hang it out to dry. It’s been in heavy rain, dragged through muddy snow, left in the sun, and covered in sand at the beach. It goes everywhere I go and it sees more abuse than I’d like but damn has it flourished. It fits a 32oz yeti rambler in the side pockets. It has pockets for my multi-tools and pens. My screw driver kit has a perfect home in the netting on the inside. If you need a bag that needs to be tough as nails and comfortable the Plan-B Grey Man is hands down the best bang for your buck. Works great as a range bag too if you don’t mind a little poke out of the top. It’s also cool if you don’t want to scream how tactical of a dad you are, but throw your moral patches on it because it’s got a great space for that if you’re into it. 10/10 would buy again, but the likelihood it’ll break before they discontinue it is slim. MY ONLY GRIPE is they don’t make a grey man jelly-roll so I gotta go black or tan!

Great transit bag

In the services, it’s all on the bus, off the bus. This bag keeps your kit with you at all times. Across your body or tucked down beside you. It is not that good for long distance heavy load carrying but that’s not it’s function. It does need some adjustments to fit comfortably if you have never used a sling pack before.
It is deceptive in its ability to pack kit away. As it is tall and thin, you are not going to get away with packing a crease free dress shirt but with careful planning it will sort you for 5 days.
The bag has the usual innovations synonymous with this brand- light coloured interior to aid finding kit. Quick release buckles, straps to compress the pack and to keep it close if you need to move fast.
Adding pouches and the larger slings does impede on the design philosophy of a transit bag.
This is year 3 for my bag and it has served its purpose and still going strong.
If you are squeezed into vehicles and need your kit, then need to to moderate walking, say ten K, this bag is worth a gamble.
And worth every penny.
As for durability and build quality, two words: hazard 4

One of the few oblong bags left on the market

Excellent design. It replaced another bag whose zippers broke over time. Fits my 150-600 telephoto + 90mm f/1.8 macro + 28mm + extension tube +a set of 72mm filters + small accessory box + A7 III with 55mm mounted lens in the main compartment. Both external pockets could carry my foldable pano head / 4 way macro rails, outlet charger and 1st aid kit. Tripod fits on either side using the available compression straps. The resulting 9kg/20lbs load can be carried easily and comfortably thanks to the generously padded shoulder strap. It took some time to figure the Evac Photo Insert is somehow required, but I ended using only its dividers; the outer case, while offering better protection, would consume too much space to fit my gear

great "go" bag

I bought this first for myself, and gifted it twice before finally keeping one. Very well made, good size for a go bag/bug out bag. Is more "stealth" due to color and material, which I like.

Wish I could buy stock in the company!

Okay, so maybe I'm a gear geek or maybe just spent too much time in the Army. Either way, I love well made, functional packs. I already have quite a few Hazard 4 sling packs/bags so why do I keep buying more? I mean, how many packs can one carry at one time? Every time I think I have enough packs/bags, Hazard 4 has a sale!! Dammit! Grabbed another Plan B in ATCS this time. I think I'm up to 4 of this one model. What will I do with them all? Not sure. Maybe give some away as Christmas or birthday gifts. I just love the way they are made, the multiple pockets, heavy duty zippers, straps, and stitching. And even though these are not "Made in America" (sure wish they were) they are made with great quality. (Not saying products not made in America are less quality, just wish they were made here in 'Merica). Keep making these high quality products and I'll (fortunately for Hazard 4 and unfortunately for my bank account) will keep buying them!

Amazing Sling Bag

Very impressed with the space in this bag and also all the accessories you can get for the outside to make it perfect for EDC. I use mine every day working at a Motorcycle shop and riding to work every day it is perfect for that and plenty of room for lunch and a extra layer when needed.

best Sling for the money!

I own two of these..one black and one in coyote...I have a Koala on the strap, and pistol mag pouches on the sides fro multi tool and Strealight Protac, I have a stick up in side with two black hawk hook n loop mag pouches,,,You can not beat this set up...slim, capable, enough capacity for a few days...it is good to go. The quality of this gear is A 1, top of the heap, king of the Hill(Frank S.)....it can not be beat. I have other gear that is as good (Cannae) but none that is better!

Awesome pack

I ordered my Plan-B a couple of weeks ago and received it in about a weeks time. Worth the wait, so far I've been able to pack it with EDC items as well as some longer term items and it hasn't let me down....awesome pack and for the price it can't be beat!!

Quality all over.

Dos't work for extreme hunting in north of Sweden. Go for a real backpacker include camel pack for water. Camel pack dose't fit in this sling pack. How ever, the manufacturing quality for hazard 4 is the best you can buy. There an't anything better, I have tested them all. So, now I'm gona look for a Hazard 4 backpacker were I even can use a camel pack. This one is my 5th Hazard 4 bag/packer.

The Pack I've been waiting for.

I've been hunting for a good pack for a whole year. When I came across hazard4 Plan B I immediately knew this is the pack I've been waiting for. With this sling pack I can get to my things right away when I'm on the go. With the shape and size of the plan b I can take this Everywhere I Go. The material is very sturdy and tough this pack is going to last me a long time. I'm definitely hazard4Life. I will definitely recommend the plan b to all my friends and family.

Perfect Non-intrusive SBR Pack

I enjoy carrying my SIG 300BO MCX SBR, extra clips, surp, gloves, glasses, water, docs, etc. in a pack that doesn't flash I'm armed. The Plan-B is the ticket. It's size is just right to secure weapon and has amble pockets to organize additional gear. I also like the multiple handle placements as every time I reach for it I always seem to able to have a handle to grab onto. The molle webbing is in all the right places and the strap with its plentiful padding make the Plan-B very comfortable on long days. Very pleased with robust zipper construction making opening and closing easy. All around great pack for an SBR with surp.

Liked enough to get a second.

Bought one originally for my takedown bow on camping trips. Took it to the UK and Europe and loved how it handled in crowds, subways etc, and felt secure at all times. Made the mistake of taking it to work once, instantly loved it for carrying all the tools i needed plus room for equipment, but by swinging it to the front i had a primitive improvised workbench on top of a ladder or in a roofspace. Once i got used to the balance and adjusted it for best fit, mobility in confined spaces etc was awesome. Unfortunately my tools snagged and cut the internal mesh pocket, by thats my doing, not the bag. Long story short, ive now added a pouch to my workbag and bought another for general personal use. Price is a kicker after the currency change, but i get the feeling i wont be replacing either bag anytime soon.

This is the one

Bought this bag as a get home bag for in the car. It has much more room than one would think and loading it up is easy.I suggest the dividers as they keep everything whgere it needs to be. full and heavy it still rides great on one strap and comes around front quickly and easily. It's also very low profile for those pushy shovey situations should we all need to leave at once ;-).

Fantastic Bag!

I seen another person with this bag in public. The style and slickness and overall ease of the bag drew me closer. I went up to a stranger and asked them what bag they had. I gathered the info and made my purchase about 10mins later. This bag is everywhere I go. Customer service is top notch as well. Hazard 4 will always have my business. The bag is tough and sturdy and will withstand abuse under adverse conditions. Fantastic bag worth every penny!!

Many uses

I bought this bag with a lot of different uses in mind. For starters, I was going to be a first time dad and wanted my own diaper bag. This has worked great for two kids now. During this time it's also been used for overnight trips and a hunting day pack. Next up I plan on using it as a camera bag. If that doesn't work out(I know it will) it will be stocked as a bug out bag. Whenever I'm doing something where I need a good bag that is comfortable and practical I grab this one. I've been impressed by how rigged the bag is...i am constantly just throwing it around and it still looks great. Do yourself a favor and get this. It has countless uses and truly is comfortable to wear.
