The Lost Brother of the Plan-B

Released from the Hazard 4 Development Archive, this rare Plan-C prototype represents an alternate evolution of one of Hazard 4's most successful carry platforms.

At the time, the Plan-B had become one of Hazard 4's best-selling sling packs. The Plan-C project explored a simple question: what if the same compact, highly organized platform were reimagined as a traditional two-strap backpack?

This pre-production development prototype was used to evaluate shoulder strap configurations, strap length, attachment points, and overall carrying ergonomics. The goal was to preserve the mobility and organization of the Plan-B while improving comfort and load distribution through a dual-strap design.

The result was a slim, highly modular daypack featuring extensive MOLLE webbing, multiple utility compartments, internal organization, and a dedicated rear compartment suitable for a hydration bladder or compact laptop. Every aspect of the carry system was refined through hands-on testing before the design reached production.

While the Plan-C eventually entered the Hazard 4 lineup, it has since been discontinued and is no longer produced. This prototype captures a unique moment in the platform's development—before final production specifications were locked in.
