Instruction/Care

Never use a washer or a dryer to clean/dry your pack. Be sure to empty all pockets, shake out dirt and debris. Soak your Hazard 4® bag in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10-15 minutes and swish it vigorously. Use clean sponge, cloth to clean dirty spots. Use a clean small and soft brush such as a toothbrush to scrub clogged zipper teeth or pocket corners - be very gentle so you don't damage any coating or finish. Rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue. Dry all metal parts completely as quickly as possible. Use a lubricant made for zippers to improve zipper slide. Invert your pack inside out and hang it to dry in shade. DO NOT place it in direct sunlight as UV light can degrade and discolor the fabric.

Solid case for Oakley Romeo

I am impressed with the materials and construction of this case. When closed it is fairly crush proof. The lining is soft and the zipper cannot scratch anything due to a nicely padded interior gutter.

Best pouch out there for glasses!

I have a couple of these and picked up another. For protecting you glasses or anything else they are excellent. Quite rigid and strong it would take an effort to crush what's inside.

Perfect for Oakley X Metals, incl Romeo 1

TLDR: this case will hold all Oakley X Metals models (incl larger ones like Romeo 1) and provides fantastic protection covering anything most people will ever need. There is nothing better available in the under $25 price range.

I was looking for a while for a reasonably priced true hard-shell case that could contain unusually wide glasses like the Oakley X Metals line. For those who don't know, most of the X Metal models have arms that stick out almost an extra 1" from each side when folded, making them unable to fit in most cases. This case is the perfect size for the larger X Metal frames including Romeo 1, X Squared, and XX. The smaller X Metal frames also fit and shouldn't slide around much if inside a microfiber bag.

To avoid any confusion, this is a "semi-rigid" case, NOT a true hard case along the lines of the Oakley carbon fiber or torpedo cases. I did originally set out seeking a true hard case, but after reading a thread on OakleyForum where this case was mentioned as the best lower priced option, I tried it and have not been disappointed. It provides plenty of protection for X Metals in all but the most extreme use cases. There are sturdier cases on the market, but they cost a lot more than the $22 for this one at the time of writing.

Bottom line: get this case for your X Metals. I'm planning to order 8-10 more in addition to the one I got to try.

Awesome!

I have 2 of these, one in black and one in coyote. These are the only cases I trust to keep my Oakley safe! The multiple attachment method are perfect!

great product, not large enough

The quality is great - I have the smaller Mil Pod for my aviator glasses - but unfortunately it is just not big enough for my M Frames (2.0 Strike as well as the 3.0 lenses). It is large enough to close with the M Frames inside but you had to squeeze and there is a very disturbing crunchy sound. @Harzard 4 : Please make more larger sizes - the M Frame are very popular ballistic eyeshields and there should definitely be a Hazard 4 Pod for it, especially since there really aren't a lot of good tactical cases for shooting glasses and most brands (including oakley) fail to provide adequate protection for their glasses. Also, it would be super helpful if you listed a few sunglasses/shooting glasses that fit in each pod size and include some pictures with eyewear so people get a better idea of the size. Thx

Great Case

Bought this after reading most glasses cases wouldn't fit my Oakley Ballistic M frames I wear at work. They fit in the sock perfectly. Hooks into my bag very well

Perfect size for oversized safety glasses/small goggles. Best feature in my opinion is attachment options. Molle compatible with a carabiner clip...thats what sent this item to my cart.

Nice design, but too large for my large glasses. Darn near big enough for lunch in addition in the glasses.
