The tropical, sun, or ‘boonie’ hat is a classic and functional accessory, but in need of modernization. Ours introduces new features that we hope will make it a modern classic.

Remove all accessories, soak in room temperature or cold water with a mild detergent, brush off debris with gentle brush. Hand wash and rinse off. Air dry only. Drying in a dryer will void your warranty.

My go to headpiece

My only critique, at least for my head / ear shape and configuration, is that the straps dangle directly in front of my ear canal in either orientation, I wish they were offset to tuck behind my ears. Otherwise love this hat, have already received tons of compliments

Sun Tac hat

These hats are great. I bought the largest size to fit my head and I’m happy with it. Stout, rugged and comfortable. Buy one - they are worth it.

Great Hat

My dad works outdoors a lot and has always talked about having a cool boonie style hat to keep the sun off. Got him the Sun Tac and he swears it's the greatest thing since sliced bread! Well done Hazard 4!

Great hat

I've used this hunting and hiking here in Germany and other European countries and this thing has done a great job. The fit is perfect, I did measure my head first before I ordered. The material is excellent, breathes well, and while not waterproof it does help keep light rain off your head. The brim is not only a great size to keep the sun out of your eyes and off your neck but it also perfect to ensure I'm not getting too close to my scope.

Best sun hat

I just went hiking and took this hat for the first time, it was amazing, some more ventilation would make it ideal for warmer climates but this one works perfect below tree line in mountain enviroments.

Great Features - Way too small

Excellent hat in terms of material and features. Why don't you offer decent sizes???

Way to small. Beware.

Hats are way too small....unless you are a 9 year old girl. If you are a grow man, BEWARE. THey are way smaller than the indicated size.... I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 and the extra large is like a little clown hat.... Way to small. I have bought two ball caps, and a boogie, each time thinking it would be better....nope..... All are way to small.
