For Uniformed, Outdoor, & Urban Use

Our thoroughly modernized version of the classic military poncho has more in common with technical sport jackets than the old vinyl camping stand-by that usually comes to mind. An industry first, it should reintroduce a generation to the functional benefits that having no sleeves affords.

The poncho can be stuffed into its own front pocket for storage. It even has a vent for drying!

Note on Warfare Edition:
- Larger hood size for better fit over a helmet and other headgear
- Longer Body. When expanded and laid flat: 90" L x 53" W (229 x 135 cm) vs MK3's length of 80" L (203 cm)

Great poncho

This poncho is perfect for those who have a lot of plans to combine it with so much. I'm curious how he's doing in the snow

Everyone Needs 1 Poncho

I think a poncho is superior to any rain coat. It's one step down from umbrella. It stands to reason we should all have at least one poncho. So I looked deep to find a GREAT poncho. A LIFER. I think this is it. I actually own an apparel brand so my eye for detail is keen. I'm impressed, this really is a great product. No corners were cut.

Hope it's waterproof

It's super warm and looks cool. I've heard mixed reviews on It's level of being waterproof so I can't wait to test it. Love it.

Hazard 4 Poncho

Absolutely Wonderful. The rectangle sheet design is perfect along with the neck gaiter. Note: This is not a rain poncho. It is suitable in cold/wet weather. I would be very interested in a micro fleece liner. Something that packs up a bit smaller.

Worth the cost. Good Job. One of a kind in the market today.

Amazing Quality

I was a little skeptical buying this at first because of its hefty price. However, it was 100% worth it. The quality is very durable and weather resistant, even without the liner. My fiancé loved it!

Great tactical poncho

Looks and feel great, I'm a 5' 6" male weighing around 185 at the time of review and it feels slightly big around the body, but tight especially around the neck and hood opening but that could be because i havent messed with the ajustment yet. water resilient not impervious.

Top notch

Great fit, easy to store. There was a tiny detachment of one of the double sealed seams...I think I can fix that. I've only worn it for windy, misty rain; so far, so good! Works great with the fleece liner.

Excellent Quality

While working in coastal Georgia I had to walk to work, twice in a hurricane/Cat 3 tropical storm. I wore the Poncho Villa to protect my rucksack contents and try to stay dry. Although soaked from mid-thighs on down before I even got to the street, after 40 minutes walking in monsoon rain my upper body and equipment stayed dry. This is an outstanding re-imagining of the classic rain poncho. Material feels good and the hood actually turns with my head. The pouch pocket works well to store it. Because the rain in Georgia comes on hard and fast I could get this out of my ruck and deployed quickly. Best of all I could take it off fast when the rain stopped. That meant I wasn't stuck wearing rain gear in a warm and humid environment. The quality is very high. Quality costs; I think this is a fair value. I can recommend this item wholeheartedly.

The fabric is great. Itâ€s not water proof but water resistant, which it does. Folding and unfolding is easy.

Quality product.

This poncho is made of quality materials and provides protection in inclement weather conditions. It is designed to provide its own carrying pouch and with a little practice works well. If i were placed in a scenario where I only had available one piece of outer wear this would be it. I would buy again although I believe this will last a long time.

If you can only have one...

Well, I delayed my review as I wanted to actually test it before just looking at it and saying it was nice. I have had this poncho in Coyote Brown for a little over two years, 03/2016. I cannot say how much I love this poncho. I have gone to Outdoor ranges in the rain, Camping, Hiking, mountains, about 5 different states, have used it in snow and rain, have worn it basically everywhere without a hiccup. I have used it as a tent on a camp ground, in the park to block the sun and even in my back yard with my son to tell scary stories at night. The material is water proof (at least it has been for me these last two (2) years and has kept me warm. If you have multiple layers on, as most people do in winter, I have found that removing my coat or a layer has kept me from sweating up a storm. The fabric is easy to clean, and I can keep it folded up and in my book bag everywhere I go. I cannot say how much I have loved this thing. I will be getting another one in black so as not to look so tactical out in town. (not that I care what other people will think of me, but gives me an excuse to tell the wife ;) ).

This is a GREAT piece of equipment!!

It's tough, quiet, and easy to maneuver in. We have been having unseasonably cool, windy, rainy weather here in Colorado-oh did I leave out hail? so I have had ample opportunities to use it, even wore it to a concert at Red Rocks where it rained most of the time. It's a pleasure to wear. I'm thinking about getting another one for my wife. OD Green would be nice.

Great Poncho! But???

Built tough. Works great! The only con need a video on how to get it back into the bag so it's flat like when I first got it. How about a video of you putting it back into it pouch.

Not for warm or hot weather.

Nice, but the cons are it absolutely it becomes a sweat box in the slightest warm weather. The neck opening/venting is really limited, as you can't keep it open to get fresh are/cool off. While the rain can't get through, the outer layer (eventually) in spots starts to absorb water, not a lot but you can see it, as opposed to it just beading and rolling off. Pros: the front pocket, you can throw a lot into it, wallet, keys, flashlight, knife etc. I do wear the Poncho Villa it turns colder.

Mr

Great product, however another D-ring attachment loop along the long side of the bag would be a massive improvement as it could be externally attached to a pack without swinging back an forth on its one D-ring. A essential addition in my opinion. Flawless product in every other way.

The. Best. Poncho. EVER!!!!

Here in southern Louisiana it can get a bit wet out. I have used this ponch at work (offshore), hunting and camping, just about every situation except actual combat. IT has held up perfectly. Itls light and very breathable. The material and construction are first class. If you need a poncho, this is the one.

Pretty Sweet

Love it. It has style. And I can ad my own flavor to it with my patches. Bought one mainly for rainy days of airsoft. Pro -Surprisingly lightweight -Slightly stretchy -Water-reistant(obviously, but better than I thought it would be) -Worn rather easily over packs, etc Cons -Doesn't come in OD green. I would buy another if it came in olive drab. Hint hint.

None

Been wanting a poncho that was more than well made and (obviously) water resistant and I got exactly what I wanted. For the item itself, I could not ask for anything more and it far exceeded my expectations. I only wish there was a demo video of how to put it back together lol. I will be buying at least 1 more black and 1 coyote in the near future.
