Instruction/Care

Never use a washer or a dryer to clean/dry your pack. Be sure to empty all pockets, shake out dirt and debris. Soak your Hazard 4® bag in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10-15 minutes and swish it vigorously. Use clean sponge, cloth to clean dirty spots. Use a clean small and soft brush such as a toothbrush to scrub clogged zipper teeth or pocket corners - be very gentle so you don't damage any coating or finish. Rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue. Dry all metal parts completely as quickly as possible. Use a lubricant made for zippers to improve zipper slide. Invert your pack inside out and hang it to dry in shade. DO NOT place it in direct sunlight as UV light can degrade and discolor the fabric.

Get hard stay hard

I can't say enough good thing about this bag, it's my second one. Initially I took good care of it thinking maybe I needed it but as the years wore on I realized it wasn't gonna wear out so I just started using it for everything, ruck runs, camping, hiking, travel. I just rip into it fill it, toss it wherever I land, go home dump it out and wait till I start all over again.

I have soaked it quite a few times and it drains and dries great, I have run endlessly through the desert winter and summer and the sun has never broken it down... or even faded it much.

Now that I think about it, it's kind of miraculous.

When the opportunity to get a second one came up it was a no brainer best pack I have ever owned. To be honest when i look for multi-day rucks or expedition bags, I just wish there was one of these but bigger I could use.

Can't thank you guys enough for putting what I assume is a lot of care and effort into designing and ensuring the quality of these bags.

Finally got the patrol pack

Ive been eyeballing this pack for some time now, and the last sale, i decided i couldn’t afford to NOT buy it. Wish i bought it sooner! Its the perfect size for a day pack, really like the organization and pockets. No shortage of places to keep stuff. It seems to be very well made. Time will tell if it holds up. But i am confident because i have 2 other Hazard4 bags of which ive had for years now and both have been on numerous outdoor excursions and have held up extremely well. I like Hazard 4 products!

Best pack for the money

I bought my pack when it first came out I think it was about ten years ago. I have used it every work day and also many weekends and vacation it is solid I never had a zipper break or any issues with the pack. I have had up to 80 lbs in it never broke a strap.

Good day pack

Overall I am really pleased with this bag. Its verry tough everywhere it needs to be and you can carry quite a bit of well distributed weight. The computer slider pocket is perfect for a 15" laptop but too small for 17". The only negative comments I would make about this pack is that its missing maybe one and half to two inches in its width. If your carrying a lot of books and/or binders and want to put watter bottles in the outside pockets they wont fit because there is no give in those pockets and all the extra space they need to open will go towards the inside of the bag. Bassically is full with anything hard on the inside, you will not be able to use the side pockets to their full potential. This forces you to buy an accessorie and put on an exterior pocket for example. And since the bag is already expensive its not really appealing to do that. That being said, I still really like the bag and will propably buy grey pack eventually to blend in a little more to civilian life as I presently have a black one(which I love) lol. There you go! P.S. Been using the pack for 1 year now.

Excellent pack!

Simply put, this has been one of the best bags I've owned in recent years. My wife says I'm a "bag-aholic" and she may be right - I have 6-7 packs and various other bags lying around my closet but this one gets the most use. It's been a daily carry for the last 6 months and I've put it through the wringer. Rain, sweat, occasional mud haven't stopped it. I got the Greyman version so I wouldn't get weird looks at the office and so far it has stayed true to that. No one pays any attention to it and it's easy to conceal carry with it. plenty of room for workout clothes, laptop & accessories, plus my lunch.

Best bag in my collection!

This is my 6th Hazard 4 bag Iâ€ve purchased and by far the one I should have started with. I mainly use it for weekend trips and have taken it with me to Chicago recently for an overnight stay. It holds about 2 days worth of clothes with out the “bulgy” look of having an over stuffed bag and I didnâ€t even have to use any additional MOLLE pouches/bags to fit everything I needed. I have a trip scheduled to take a flight out west and this will be coming with me most definitely. Both storage areas are large enough for a decent laptop and a days worth of clothes or, an extra set of clothes minus the laptop. The price tag is steep, however, the craftsmanship and attention to detail in this bag make it well worth it especially if youâ€ll be putting it to use consistently.

Bad Ass Bag

When I ordered this bag it said 6 to12 days which I thought alright not bad that's normal but I got it in 4! These guys are fast and they deliver an amazing product. The patrol bag has a lot of storage and I can fit my lap top and a change of clothes or whatever I need in there for when I go riding my motorcycle. All the straps fit nice and tight so it doesn't move in those highway winds. I've already put my medkit on there and multitool and fits my thermal in the side cup pouches. All around an amazing bag and it blew my expectations out of the water! It's hard to tell but I was able to fit three pairs of glasses in the hardshell pocket and still had room in there for more! Would definitley recommend!

Great Bag

I have the single sling version of this bag from hazard 4 . The bag was great However I started to carry a lot more gear and I needed an upgrade so I grab this bag. I worked out in the north slopes of Alaska and the wet parts of Pa and the bag has server me well. Itâ€s a tough bag , Iâ€m able to carry two laptops and everything else that I need to be out in the field drilling gas wells. The back pack fights everything neatly and tight so there isnâ€t a lot of movement back there. Itâ€s well made so the bag can be throw into the back of your truck . Itâ€s a great bag .

Great all around

I mainly use the bag for 5 mile lava tour hikes. So far itâ€s been holding up well. Super comfortable and all around a great bag. Always wanted one! The only thing I dong like is it not being water proof.

Bags bag

Bought this bag 2 years ago. Not a single fray, broken zipper or wear. Despite going everywhere with me. To the office, flights, day hikes, it truly has been just about everywhere. If the day comes I need to replace it, Hazard will be my go to replacement!

By far the best bag I have ever owned!

This is probably the best bag/pack I have ever owned. It outshines packs that I have paid twice as much for. If you are looking for a heavy duty bag that can pull multiple duties then look no further. After buying this product I will be a Hazard 4 customer for life.

Amazing

This thing is super bad-ass, well thought out and rugged. The removable belt and adjustable straps make it extremely versatile. Perfect for carry-on only airline travel with a laptop and a few days worth of clothing. So heavy duty you can easily load it up with heavy items as well without fear of it giving out. Makes my other backpacks (including ones which were more expensive) look like an amateur joke.

Great bag

This is a really well made bag that was well thought out. It's hold a lot of stuff as well. I also got a Maxpedition bag of similar size but it holds much less because of excessive compartmentalization. The Patrol Pack is well designed compartment wise but still allows for a large central compartment. The hard case is great for sun glasses or the like. Great great bag!

Best Backpack I have ever owned, also holds 100oz camelbak

I could go on and on over this pack, and let's face it. After spending over $200 on a backpack you probably would as well. But in all fairness, this is an amazing system, that shows the quality in every aspect. The bottom of the pack is even made of a leather type material for added wear protection, and all the compartments feature drain holes. Hope my review has been helpful. Luke L
