Instruction/Care

Never use a washer or a dryer to clean/dry your pack. Be sure to empty all pockets, shake out dirt and debris. Soak your Hazard 4® bag in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10-15 minutes and swish it vigorously. Use clean sponge, cloth to clean dirty spots. Use a clean small and soft brush such as a toothbrush to scrub clogged zipper teeth or pocket corners - be very gentle so you don't damage any coating or finish. Rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue. Dry all metal parts completely as quickly as possible. Use a lubricant made for zippers to improve zipper slide. Invert your pack inside out and hang it to dry in shade. DO NOT place it in direct sunlight as UV light can degrade and discolor the fabric.

Comeback kid

I keep trying to move away from this bag that I've owned for years now. However, i always find myself coming back to it. Reason being, I tend to think i outfit it because it won't cover a heavy days load all the time, but when I go bigger, i tend to overload and get to heavy. The size checks that in the Hazard 4 Plan C. It's comfortable, and smaller footprint tends to alleviate hot back. The only hangup i have is the side straps for cinching, and it's only when i need to open the bag more than ⅓ of the way down because it blocks the zipper when clipped. No big deal, except for a very few times you want to open half the bag. That and the outside side pockets are very tight and if packed tight inside could prevent storage of bulky items in those exterior pockets. Overall, this is one of my favorites for daily running around and i recommend this plan c which could be converted to a plan b type sling too if that's more preferable. Not as dialed in as the sling when used s one but it can be done.

A GOOD START

I have the plan C bag for a few months now and some improvements can be made in the design of the bag IMO. 1st, why does the bag not have quick release shoulder straps? Because the bag is narrow it is difficult to put on both shoulders into the straps, and I am a lean /slim person. Getting the bag off can be just as difficult as putting it on, quick release straps would be helpful (especially since some of these bags seem tactical in design based on the advertising pictures). 2nd, the main center strap joint to bag itself is a weak point. Instead of the straps being connected to the bag is attached to a patch of material that is then attached to the bag. If this 2 things were fixed, I would give the bag 5 stars.

Great edc

I use this bag daily as an edc, keeping the bare necessities, and then some in this bag. It is organized, easily accessible, and flexible to a very high degree. It swings around to the front, even with the two strap backpack style, with access no matter which way you swing, to the bottomof the bag should you need it. All zippers flow to any side you want, so even that is ambidextrous. There are many options as far as add ons, not just provided by hazard 4, but any Molle attached gear. The hard upper is great for protecting sensitive items in the zipper attached to the hard shell, and the upper portion of the bigger inner section as well. The padded dividers work well, and are definitely stiff and strong enough to keep everything separated when closed. This bag packs a big punch in compact style. I love it as an edc/worksite lunch box, and print holder. Great tool you guys have here, it definitely has me looking for my next purchase from hazard 4. Thanks a bunch.
