Before Hazard 4 became known for technical packs and gear systems, Civilian Lab developed a series of innovative everyday-carry products focused on practical functionality. Among them was the Clip™ Wallet - one of the company's most successful early wallet designs and, for a time, a top seller.

This particular example comes directly from the Civilian Lab vault.

Constructed with a durable PU-coated leather exterior, the wallet combines the classic appearance of leather with easy maintenance and everyday durability. A simple wipe-down is often all that's needed to keep it looking sharp.

What made the Clip Wallet unique was its integrated stainless steel spring clip, allowing the wallet to be carried almost anywhere:

• Clipped to a belt or waistband
• Secured inside a pocket to prevent loss
• Attached to MOLLE webbing on packs and gear
• Clipped inside backpacks, organizers, and travel bags
• Mounted to vehicle visors and other convenient locations

The wallet also features a magnetic closure for quick, secure access to cards and cash while maintaining a slim, streamlined profile.

The combination of magnetic closure and stainless steel spring clip made this one of the most versatile everyday-carry wallets we ever produced—and one of the founder's favorite personal carry items.

The Clip Wallet enjoyed a successful run, but we simply transitioned our wallet offerings toward nylon cut-and-sew construction as the company evolved and expanded into new product categories. Production eventually ended, and the remaining inventory quietly disappeared.
